Carolyn worked this past year as a Teaching Apprentice in Grades 1 and 3, teaching full-time while juggling a full graduate student course load. She brings to the Admissions team first-hand knowledge of daily life at Brookwood, a strong understanding of early childhood and elementary curriculum as well as experience building and maintaining relationships with parents. In addition to a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University, Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of New Hampshire. She worked for three years as an assistant teacher in the Montessori School of Exeter and a year as an early education teacher at Andover School of Montessori. Beyond the classroom, Carolyn tutored at the New England Academy of Music, Language and Art, and served as a Maine Medical volunteer. Carolyn lives in Marblehead where she is an avid beachgoer. She also enjoys sports, traveling to new places and attempting to cook.
