The Lower School was filled with excitement as parents and grandparents visited classrooms during our Math Morning. The students took the lead and taught their family members some of their favorite math games, highlighting their growing understanding of number sense. Number sense is important because it encourages students to think flexibly and fluidly with numbers, enabling them to have a sense of what numbers mean, understand their relationship to one another, and use those numbers in real world situations. Thank you to all for such a lively morning!
