Brian's Bio

Brian comes to Brookwood from Riverdale Country School in Bronx, New York, where he worked for 22 years in a variety of capacities, most recently as a Class Dean since 2008. As a Class Dean, Brian advised all aspects of student life for two sets of classes of 120 students from grades 9 – 12 while also teaching math for Grades 6 through 11. His prior roles at Riverdale include teaching Introductory and AP Computer Science and Physical Education for Grades 6 through 12. A three-season coach, Brian’s leadership with Riverdale swim teams earned the school seven NYC Ivy Prep League Championships. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University and a Master of Science in Middle and High School Mathematics Education from Lehman College. Brian, who recently moved with his family to Ipswich, is a triathlete with several Ironman and marathon finishes and has been riding the Pan Mass Challenge since he was 16.
