Visit Brookwood

There's nothing like seeing Brookwood faculty and students in action! Prospective parents are invited to visit, sample classes and have coffee with division heads. There will be a full schedule available featuring all disciplines and grades.

Every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. the entire school comes together for announcements, student performances, poetry readings, game reports, special Cultural Enrichment programs and more. Parents and guests are always invited and encouraged to attend.

The best way to learn about Brookwood is to visit the School and experience first-hand this dynamic community.  Tours are scheduled on an individual basis and are also offered at our annual Open Houses. Please call the Admissions Office to schedule a time to visit.

Led by Brookwood faculty, these hour-long classes for 3- to – 5- year- olds are free and family friendly. Parents and children are welcome to attend one or multiple sessions. Please note class size is limited. RSVP to Kate Fuge at

Research shows that quality early childhood education plays a critical role in developing a strong foundation for a child's educational future.  At Brookwood, we know how important it is that your child  enjoys going to school, is known by his or her teachers, is engaged in a challenging and meaningful curriculum, and that your school focuses on caring for the whole child.

At Brookwood, this happens every day.  Come see for yourself at our upcoming Open House on Saturday, January 28. The afternoon features:

  • 1-2 p.m. Campus tours featuring  classroom visits and the opportunity to meet and speak with Brookwood Faculty;
  • 2 -3 p.m. Information Program with a presentation by Head of School Laura Caron and conversations with Divisions Heads and Brookwood faculty.  Now in her second year, Laura Caron will talk about Brookwood's guiding philosophy, The New Face of Rigor, Brookwood's Mission in Practice, and the foundations of  our academic program.
  • 3 p.m. Grade 8 Student Panel. Hear first-hand about the student experience during the Q & A with our

Brookwood faculty will lead children's activities during the 2 p.m. Information Program and 3 p.m. Gr. 8 Student Panel:

  • Preschool and Kindergarten students: Blocks, Playdough, Legos, Art and Indoor Play
  • Students in Grades 1 – 4:  Make a bristlebot out of toothbrushes, batteries, and a small motor. Decorate it, and watch it scurry across the floor!
  • Students in Grades 5 - 7: Learn to play Steel Drums and perform for parents at 3:30 p.m.
