Statement of Commitment

In the Spring of 2022, we revised our DEIJB Statement of Commitment to reflect Brookwood’s commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment that is anti-bias and anti-racist and strives to graduate students who will affect change towards a more just society.

Inclusive Calendar

In the Fall of 2021, Brookwood reviewed the school calendar to ensure more equitable acknowledgment of and scheduling with consideration of cultural and religious holidays and implemented a more inclusive academic calendar moving forward.

Land Acknowledgement

Brookwood is located on N’dakinna, which is the traditional ancestral homeland of the Pawtucket Peoples past and present. We acknowledge and honor with gratitude the land, the waterways, and the alnobak (people) who have stewarded N’dakinna throughout the generations.
