We are still feeling the energy and excitement from this year’s Harmony on the Harbor—what a truly harmonious evening! 

While we came together to support the programs and initiatives that make Brookwood so special, we left with something even greater: a renewed sense of connection, pride, and purpose as Brookwood parents, alumni, friends, and educators—and had a FUN time doing it!

We are delighted to announce that with your support, we exceeded our targeted fundraising goals, totaling over $200,000!

Reimagining our Library

An inspired space for inspired learners

At Brookwood, we prepare students not just for school, but for life—for lives of curiosity, purpose, and meaning. And for generations of Brookwood learners, the library has been where that journey truly begins.

It’s the heart of the school:

  • A place where students discover books that stay with them for years.
  • Where they ask big questions and develop their voices as thinkers, researchers, and creators.
  • Where curiosity turns into action, and quiet wonder becomes confident insight.

Why now?

The physical space hasn’t changed since 1997. While our students and academic program have evolved, the library has not kept pace. The world our students are growing up in demands agility, discernment, and deep thinking. Our vision is to create a modern, student-centered space that supports how learning happens today:

  • Flexible zones for reading, collaboration, and inquiry
  • Technology integration for research, media literacy, and exploration
  • Warm, welcoming design that invites focus, creativity, and curiosity
  • A space for all ages, from joyful Early Childhood read-alouds to Grade 8 research and project work

A gift to the library revitalization is a direct investment in Brookwood’s academic life and in every student who walks through our doors.
