Our Community

Brookwood’s founding mission, which endures today, is based on the research-backed idea that our community is strongest—and learning outcomes are greatest—when it is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and points of view. Brookwood draws from 42 towns across Boston’s North Shore and Southern New Hampshire, and our curriculum supports the growth and development of kids as student citizens.

When kids feel valued as contributing members of our community, they are able to deepen their learning and meet the high expectations of our challenging academic program. Supported by a strong network of teachers, mentors, coaches, peers and parents alike, Brookwood students aim high and become their best selves.”Laura Caron, Head of School

In addition to our focus on the student experience, we also offer Parent Education programs and host a variety of events—many of which are organized through our active Parents’ Association—where parents, guardians and extended family members can connect, learn and grow. Whether parents drive to campus every day or participate virtually as their schedules allow, all kinds of families are welcomed and embraced at Brookwood. We know that authentic partnerships instill confidence, build trust and propel growth, therefore Brookwood is a home away from home—for kids and for families.

It’s a place where everyone has a voice and a seat at the table.
