School Meeting

When our students, teachers, administrators and parents gather weekly at School Meeting to learn from each other, kids feel connected as part of a greater whole and become active participants and willing risk-takers in and out of the classroom.

Every Thursday at 10:00 a.m., the John C. Peterman School Meeting House is transformed into a celebratory hub of student voice, performances, Parents’ Association sponsored Cultural Enrichment programs and more.

In addition to Head of School Laura Caron’s weekly welcome remarks, members of the 8th grade School Meeting Leadership Group serve as emcees and announcers—one of many ways in which Brookwood students are empowered to build confidence and leadership skills within our academic program.
