Auction Preview - Head of School's Letter, March 7

Dear Families,

Spring break is here, bringing to close a most successful and busy few months for Brookwood. I hope the next couple of weeks allow you a well-earned change of pace—whether that’s adventure, rest, or something in between. When we return, we launch into one of the most exciting stretches of the year, packed with community traditions and celebrations that make Brookwood so special. Kicking it all off is Harmony on the Harbor, this year’s annual auction and community celebration on Saturday, April 5.

This year, we’re bringing the event to the wonderful Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport—a setting as spectacular as the night we have planned. Harmony on the Harbor is more than just an auction; it’s an evening that brings together students, alumni, faculty, and parents in a way only Brookwood can. This year’s lineup of performances includes Bella '25 & Sebastian '25, Broadway and TV star Allison Case P '31, '33, Brookwood faculty member Lauren Rossi, and Above Water, featuring Brookwood alumni James Vassallo ’12, Sam Ober ’12, Chris Mellen, and Jake Stavros.

Of course, an event like this doesn’t come together on its own. Huge thanks to our Auction Planning Committee—Keri Lynn Barneson P '27, '30, Allison Case P '31, '33, Kelsey LaGross ’08 P '31, '33, Daniella Mammola P '29, '31, and Gina Weishaupt P '27 TR—for the time, creativity, and effort they’ve poured into making this an unforgettable night. We are also deeply grateful to the families and organizations who have sponsored this event and generously contributed exceptional items and unique experiences to enrich the program.

With Pellana Prime Steakhouse catering and a room full of Brookwood energy, it’s going to be an incredible evening. There are still seats available—grab yours and be part of it!
