Dear Upper School Families,
I write to you on the eve of our last summer weekend. This has been a busy week at Brookwood and the excitement that accompanies the start of a new school year is radiating through the building. Faculty returned to campus this past Monday for opening meetings and on Wednesday evening we hosted New Parent Orientation, welcoming 15 new families to the Upper School. It was great to meet our newest community members and spend time talking about all the wonderful opportunities that exist at Brookwood. I hope that you enjoy this upcoming long weekend and I look forward to seeing you at the Coffee on the Courtyard, hosted by the Parents’ Association on the first day of school, immediately following drop-off.
Since my arrival to Brookwood on July 1, I have had the good fortune of meeting many members of the community. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and parents this summer and look forward to furthering that community connection this fall. To aid in that endeavor, you can use this link to schedule a time to meet with me. Please note that these meetings are for parents and guardians as I will be coordinating group meetings with students during their scheduled advisory time throughout the fall. I hope we can find a time to sit and chat soon and I look forward to a great year ahead.
Take good care and I look forward to seeing you on campus soon!
