- Join us in Celebrating Brookwood at Wellspring House
One of the most encouraging collaborations I have witnessed in Brookwood's Lower School is the unique partnership with Wellspring House, forged over many years by Jeff Wilfahrt, Pam Hawes, and Sarah Dawe. It is only fitting that Wellspring House will be honoring them for building connections with Wellspring for over three decades by creating a galvanizing curriculum that serves as a benchmark for First Grade and a milestone in the overall Brookwood experience.
If you and/or your child experienced Grade 1 at Brookwood, I am simply preaching to the choir. Teachers carefully crafted year-long activities, meaningful trips, impactful read-alouds, and moderated introspective conversations that enable empathetic little humans to grow into service-oriented adults. From working on beautifying the property to brainstorming and shopping for housewarming staples, three decades of lower schoolers had this mainstay as one of their first opportunities to actively engage in the changemaking process.
Join me and other members of the Brookwood School community to honor their achievement on Saturday, October 5, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. You can RSVP here and children are encouraged to attend!
